Jacki Staude

Metalwork, in general terms, describes my art practise over the last 30 years. After completing a Fine Arts Degree (Sculpture) I began making furniture for exhibitions and on commission. Based in North Shore, Geelong I specialise in one-off works that are often site specific and architecturally integrated. I develop concepts, draw options and designs to scale, as well as fabricate the work. I have amassed a breadth of experience in metalworking techniques, processes and finishes. Recent commissions include an Arbour for the Melbourne University Community Garden at the University of Melbourne in Parkville.
